BACKGROUND CHECK REQUIRED

In order to keep this powerful technology out of the wrong hands, the TASER C2 uses an innovative new background check system called CheckLok. The TASER C2 system is digitally locked during shipment and will not function until the owner of the device completes a secure identification and background check to obtain a unique activation code. This code can be obtain via an 800 number or on the web.

LIFETIME REPLACEMENT WARRANTY

When fired, the TASER C2 will deliver a 30 second energy burst to incapacitate a threat. During this window of opportunity, you can leave the TASER C2 to keep the attacker incapacitated while you escape. Neuromuscular Incapacitation (NMI)
The key technology to disable even the most aggressive subjects, NMI temporarily overrides the command and control systems of the body to impair muscular control.
Shaped PulseTM Technology
A sophisticated pulse wave that utilizes a high voltage leading edge to penetrate barriers such as clothing around the body followed by a lower voltage stimulation pulse to cause neuromuscular incapacitation. (Probes do not have to reach skin- Pulse passes through up to 2 inches of clothing).
C2 Cartridge
A replaceable module that allows for the engagement of targets at ranges up to 15 feet (4.5 meters). Integrates a nitrogen propulsion system, high voltage insulated TASER wire, bi-metal probes, and AFID serialization optimized for the TASER C2.
Anti-Felon Identification (AFID)
A system to deter misuse through enhanced accountability, AFID includes bar-coded serialization of each cartridge and disperses confetti-like ID tags upon activation.
Laser Integration
TASER microprocessor controls laser illumination synchronous with safety switch operation.
Lithium Power Magazine (LPM)
Integrated power source with lithium battery cells and solid state memory module for tracking power consumption, power levels remaining, low power warning. 10 Year Shelf Life. Good for 50 Firing Cycles. 
CheckLokTM
  Next generation background check technology ensures full compliance with user identification and screening. Ships in a locked state, can only be unlocked with activation code received upon successful registration and background check approval.
